How long should driving lessons be? 

 

  • Most people progress faster in one 2 hour driving lesson than in two 1 hour lessons.  

  • Longer driving lessons can cost less overall as you'll almost certainly need fewer lessons!

  • Longer lessons give a more varied and enjoyable driving experience. More subjects can be included and you get more time to practice.
  • More time can be spent driving on the DSA test routes. 
  • Most importantly, the length of driving lessons should feel comfortable - experiment!
